Cadwalader m
Welsh: Anglicized form of Cadwaladr, an ancient Celtic name composed of the elements cad battle + gwaladr leader and commonly given to the sons of kings and princes. St Cadwalader (d. c.682) was a British chieftain who died maintaining a stronghold against the pagan Saxon invaders.
